Step By Step

Step by step God leads us
as we let Him hold our hand.
He calls us His mighty ones.
Yet it is he who makes us stand
prevailing
strong and valiant warriors.

We come like Davids men.
A motly bunch of rebels
and become a marvellous band
rubies in His hands
treasured ones.
We shall live, because he lives.
Death dying in us.
Life living in us.

Stand up
you mighty ones
delightful to the Lord.
You've been chosen to weild the sword!
Put to death your selfish will.
Let Jesus captain you.
Be full
with love.
