This can be a concrete visual poem or word art.
It's a prophetic poem.
The letter t is the shape of the cross. It changes the star to start which is alpha.
Tar is a word for thank you. It is also a black sticky coating that makes the roads easier to travel on.
The letter a is a pregnant belly.
The top of the a and the r are like closed eyes.
We catch glimpses of the beauty of the star of stars - we see only in part.

At church we were asked to pray about what gifts God wanted us to use in the church the following year so I began praying, but the only thing God said to me was He was our shepherd. I asked God for another poem. I saw the word start and saw the word “star” in it and thought I could work on that.

As I got into the car to drive home from work that day the word “star” came into my mind and I knew God had answered me again. A concrete visual poem or word art came into my mind as I meditated on and played with the words. I thought the letter t is the shape of the cross. It changes the star to start which is alpha. Jesus is the Alpha, the beginning. The word Tar is also in start and is a word for thank you. Christmas was approaching and it is a time of thankfulness for the child, the baby Jesus. Tar is also a black sticky coating for the highways we travel on. It makes the road easier to travel on. Jesus does too. I put the word alpha inside the letter “a” which looked like a pregnant belly and thought the alpha star was tarred, coated in flesh and all the blackness of our sins and crucified. He is now the whitest of heavenly stars; the star of stars. We catch glimpses of His beauty. Now we see only a part of the great star that He is but one day we will see Him as He sees us. I finished the image and put it on some of my websites and offered it for use during communion at church.

We attended a Christmas dinner and when Peter and I pulled my Christmas cracker a star fell out onto the ground. I looked around the tables and could see no other stars. I felt sure then that a star had started on it journey towards earth and this was the disaster heading our way that I had depicted in an art work.

The following Sunday I anxiously told someone at church that a star was going to fall to earth. The reading that day in church just so happened to be “and the stars of heaven will fall to the earth.” I didn't know it was going to be nor did the person I told. I put this prophecy on one of my websites.

Some months later one of the men in our church sent an email around encouraging people to share what God was saying so I emailed them back letting them know about two prophecies God had given me. There were going to be some earthquakes and billowing waves below the waves in various places and a star was heading for earth.

Hour Glass ViewI created eleven more concrete poems, one a day including some about earthquakes and tectonic Plates. I put them on my website, hoping the people who needed to be warned would somehow see them.

I looked back at an art work I had created called Hour Glass View and the hole in the deseert looked like a star could have created it.

Throughout the year I kept praying that God would divert the star and one day I sensed that God had answered my prayer. I checked the internet to see if any asteriods had passed by the earth or been destroyed and discovered that some had.

  1. "A small asteroid buzzed by Earth Monday, though only real astronomy geeks in the Pacific would have noticed.
The rock, estimated to be no more than 200 feet wide, zoomed past our planet at an altitude of 40,000 miles at 1:44 p.m. universal time — or 8:44 EST. Dubbed 2009 DD45, it was discovered only on Friday by Australian astronomers.
Forty thousand miles may sound like a lot, but it's only about one-seventh of the way to the moon, and less than twice as far out as many telecommunications satellites.
Had 2009 DD45 hit the Earth, it would have exploded on or near the surface with the force of a large nuclear blast — not very reassuring when you consider humanity had only about three days' notice.
According to the Australian news Web site Crikey, the asteroid is likely to be drawn in by Earth's gravity, meaning it may return for many more near misses in the future."

  1. "AN asteroid exploded over Indonesia with the force of three Hiroshima bombs - and no one on Earth knew it was coming."
    * Blast equivalent to '50,000 tons of TNT'
    * Witnesses heard it, but no one saw it
    * Too small for telescopes to detect

"The asteroid - named 2009 DD45 - passed Earth early Monday 48,800 miles above Tahiti. It measured between 69 feet and 154 feet across, about as big as the one that crashed near Tunguska, Siberia, in 1908 and leveled 830 square miles of forest. That’s a 32-mile wide circle."
